Plastic is inevitable in our life today. It has become the norm of support to any aspect of living condition. Being a synonym of durability, flexibility, cost effective, weightlessness and so on, it has been the cruelest invention that we are not able to get rid of. Having said this, man is on a mission to find its way out of our lives. Let’s take a peek into the world of creation that the students at Hegemony Global School have accomplished.
Innovation and Design Thinking
Hegemony Global School teachers are dedicated to helping students to build out of the box ideas that will change their perception on waste production. Through this practice, students are navigated to lead the change and make the difference the world so desperately needs now. With their help students have accomplished a lot in a short few minutes.
Creative Engagement
At Hegemony Global School, teachers came up with a creative idea of making the best out of plastic waste as a part of children’s co-curriculum. On 7th June, 2023, children brought plastic waste from their houses to convert it into something useful like planters, pots, pencil boxes etc. In the process, they came up with more creative ideas which motivated them to convert more waste into useful products at home. Recycling has never been so much fun.
Target Achieved.
This activity was conducted on a very positive note at the very beginning of the year and students became enthusiastic to participate in the upcoming events. This activity has created a sense of curiosity and aptitude for CCA and helped teachers to break barriers with children. In the process, The HGS team altogether can lift our chins up and say we did a little bit to help the environment on one day and we have learnt that the will is greater to manage our waste rather than be ignorant of it. The students never stop thinking out of the box and boosting their creativity.
