The silence of nature is very real. It surrounds you; you can feel it.

Students of HEGEMONY GLOBAL SCHOOL grades 3, 4 and 5 were taken on an educational trip to Jarakabande Kawal Butterfly Garden on 04th February 2023 with the primary objective to raise awareness about the winged beauties that are becoming extinct due to the destruction of their habitat and the absence of food plants. The HEGEMONY GLOBAL SCHOOL kids spotted many colourful, beautiful butterflies. They also looked for live caterpillars and cocoons. They were excited to see the various species of butterflies. Activities were conducted in to enrich the knowledge of the life cycle of a butterfly. Students of HEGEMONY GLOBAL SCHOOL explored nature field trip that included walking through a butterfly habitat and a gazebo that was beautifully painted with butterfly life cycles.

Finally, the children understood the proper way to approach a caterpillar/butterfly and promised not to hold a butterfly again because it could be fatal to them. We hope that this field trip will pique their interest in butterflies and inspire them to be environmental stewards.

As we move more towards a modern lifestyle, we must not forget our roots and where we come from. In light of this, students of HEGEMONY GLOBAL SCHOOL Classes 1 and 2 visited the Model Village, a peek into rural life as part of their CBSE Curriculum on 08th Feb 2023. Rangoli Garden is a fascinating and close-to-realistic sculptural journey into the economy, food habits, cultural traditions, religious events, recreations, and living conditions of Karnataka. The little ones of HEGEMONY GLOBAL SCHOOL were excited in the van as well as at the venue as it was their first school field trip with their friends. They were quite thrilled to look at all the models around them and with the wide-open spaces gave them the opportunity to quench their curiosity.

The visit gave the students the opportunity to experience what a simple day at a village might look like. This break from the routine helped to refresh and rejuvenate our school children who came back with happy faces.
